.Pep Guardiola has declared Barcelona need four more points to secure the La Liga title as his side prepares to face cross-town rivals Espanyol.
Barcelona lead second-placed Real Madrid by eight points with four matches remaining.
A loss for Real against Sevilla on Saturday could mean Barcelona could claim the title with a win against Espanyol on Sunday, but Guardiola said he was not focusing on other results.
“I think we have four points to make. It doesn’t matter what our rivals do. It is about us,” Guardiola said.
“It won’t change our preparations for the match. Regarding today’s result, we need four points.”
